Under the National Environment Awareness Campaign (NEAC), a one day workshop was organized at village Gandhuwa in Mohanpur block in Deoghar district in Jharkhand through which 65 participants came to know about the benefits of organic farming by Swami Radhakanta Nand Ji Maharaj. He told about different techniques of farming which benefitted the participants immensely. A distribution Pit was also provided in the village for demonstration purpose which helped villagers producing 10 ton vermin compost with combined efforts. The program was a success and all the participants agreed to produce vermin compost and they are now using it regularly in productions.
