Developing and implementing programmes to address various community requirements throughout their jurisdiction.
Creating programmes may involve conducting research, consulting with community members and coordinating with other organisations to ensure they reach their goals, and operate appropriately.
Monitoring programme outcomes:
Ensure the objectives, oversee programme outcomes objectives.
Collecting and analysing data, periodically reviewing a programme's progress or status, and adjusting parameters and specifications based on outcomes.
Communication and Engagement:
Communication regularly with community members, invested parties and organisational representatives.
Strong communication skills help them convey programme objectives, gather feedback and build professional relationships to accomplish goals.
Reporting to the Team Leader, the District Coordinators will:
Lead the District-level team, and ensure a coordinated approach to all components in the district and resolve issues or problems.
Work with the District Government and other stakeholders to develop annual plans for activities under each component, and to build capacity in reconstruction planning.
Lead communication and stakeholder engagement activities with district government, civil society and private sector
Ensure the timely submission of financial and operational reports
Participate in program review meetings.
Perform other duties as required by the programme
Qualification
At least 5 years’ experience in infrastructure-related rural development in Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Assam, including capacity building, and institutional strengthening and delivery of infrastructure.
Demonstrated understanding of the challenges of post-earthquake reconstruction
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
Proven ability to build and maintain effective working relationships
Ability to work effectively under pressure and to manage competing priorities.
Attention to detail and ability to effectively and efficiently perform multiple tasks and balance competing priorities often within a required timeframe.
Fluency in written and spoken English, Hindi is essential.
