Community Health Development Program


Gram Sathi plans to reach out to 3,000 children including their caregivers across 10,000 families in 2 States of India with the ultimate aim to help them rebuild their lives and communities. Depending on the specific requirements, Gram Sathi is extending recovery assistance to prevent further damage and loss, repair essential services, protect health, provide psychosocial support, restore livelihoods, and enhance food security.

Ensure safe and protected environment for children who have parents / families suffering / lost lives due to Covid-19 under our short term and long term stay programmes , also by reach out to provide Dry Ration supplies for 3 months to vulnerable families in communities. Our approach emerges towards building Awareness and bringing out behavioural change-extend much needed psychosocial and technological support to overcome this crisis and promising work towards Linking families with State and Centre sponsored welfare Schemes also towards rebuilding the lives through Livelihood assistance.

Gram Sathi is sincere to ensure safer health for the poor people by imparting them regular health information. In 2015-16, the program continued with same intensity by Gram Sathi. Different programs like meetings, training and workshops were regularly organized by Gram Sathi covering 10 villages of the Mohanpur blo ck in Deoghar district in Jharkhand. Under the program, training to the members of the village health-sanitation-nutrition committees and Sahiyas were also provided which helped them to improve their knowledge on NRHM.
